River conditions forecasts posted on 2016-04-18 by Ottawa River Regulation Planning Board

Reservoirs throughout the basin are almost empty. Due to warming temperatures and today’s forecast rainfall, snowmelt runoff is expected to increase in the central and northern portions of the watershed this week. Snow pack water content is currently much above seasonal averages in those areas.
