Forecast for 2026-05-19
River conditions forecasts posted on 2026-05-19 by Ottawa River Regulating Committee
Spring runoff in the northern part of the basin is slowly receding but remains high. Along the main stem of the Ottawa River, the decline in water levels and flows has slowed down at all locations due to recent rainfall and continued large volumes of water from the north, with water levels from Mattawa to Lake Deschenes remaining near or slightly below minor flood levels. Over the next few days, water levels and flows are expected to remain fairly stable before gradually declining again in all locations.
