Water levels and flows along the main stem of the Ottawa River are currently within seasonal values. Spring runoff is expected to continue increasing over the coming days due to recent warm temperatures and ongoing precipitation. Another weather system is bringing rain to the central and southern parts of the basin and snow to the north today and tomorrow. Although temperatures are expected to return below seasonal values over the coming days, water levels and flows are expected to continue increasing from Lac Coulonge down to the Montreal Region over the coming week.
